The book titled "Closed Maraş Initiative", written by President Ersin Tatar, has been published.
The book describes the activities carried out by various foundations in Closed Maraş since the Ottoman period, what happened during the British period, the 1974 Cyprus Peace Operation and the negotiation periods, and the 'Closed Maraş Opening' on October 8, 2020.
The book also describes the involvement of the Maraş region in the Second Peace Operation, how Maraş came to the agenda in the negotiations, the aims of the Maraş initiative, its economic dimension, and President Tatar's statements regarding Maraş.
In the book that was prepared for publication by Presidential Chief Advisor and Press Advisor Aydın Akkurt and edited by Private Secretary to the President Dr. Çağın Zort, many documents and photographs about Closed Maraş are published for the first time.
