President Tatar receives the delegation of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum
President Ersin Tatar received the General Director of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum, Yunus Sönmez, and his accompanying delegation.
Making a statement during the visit to the Office of the Presidency, President Ersin Tatar expressed his gratitude and thanks to Mr Sönmez and his accompanying delegation for their visit to the TRNC, where he wished them success in their work and endeavours.
Stating that support of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation is important for the Turkish Cypriot people to take their deserved place in the world, President Tatar said that the initiatives of the Youth Forum will help communicate the injustices and the negative impact arising out of the unjust isolation imposed on the Turkish Cypriot people and our youth by the international community.
The Youth Forum General Director, Yunus Sönmez, thanked President Tatar for accepting them and stated that they are honoured and happy to be in the TRNC. He also gave information about the activities carried out by the OIC Youth Forum.
The Director of the Youth Office, Hasan Eren and the TRNC Officer of the OIC Youth Forum, Sinan Karşıyaka, also attended the meeting.
Presidential Advisor Ahmet Hamdi was present at the meeting.
