During the meeting issues regarding the cooperation proposals conveyed by President Tatar to the Greek Cypriot side through the Secretary General of the United Nations, the proposal to open a new crossing border in Haspolat that will be reserved only for economic and commercial activities, and which will reduce the congestion at the Metehan Crossing Border and, studies on the possibility of bank transfers between the two parties, the pre-feasibility study on establishing a solar power plant in the region, how to overcome the problems in trade between the two parties, and the fight against diseases encountered in our agricultural products were discussed.
The development of bilateral relations between the European Union and TRNC was also evaluated during the meeting.
