President Ersin Tatar meets with Republic of Türkiye Minister of Culture and Tourism Nuri Ersoy in Germany

President Ersin Tatar visited the International Berlin Tourism Fair on the second day of his visit to Germany.

President Tatar first visited the TRNC stand and met with hotel and tourism agencies there.

President Tatar held interviews with various media organs and conveyed the latest developments on the Cyprus issue.

President Tatar, who visited the stands of Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan as well as TRNC, came together with tourism officials.

President Tatar also met with Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Nuri Ersoy in the meeting room at the Northern Cyprus stand. Minister of Tourism Fikri Ataoğlu and TRNC Berlin Representative Beniz Uluer Kaymak were also present at the meeting.

Making a statement after his meeting with Minister Ersoy, President Tatar stated that within the framework of the agreement made with the Turkish Ministry of Tourism, TRNC will be advertised for promotional purposes first in England and then in Germany and Türkiye this month.

President Tatar said, "The political will is behind this, we work in full harmony with the Motherland Türkiye on tourism, and this harmony contributes to the increase in the number of tourists coming to the country."

Pointing out that the country's tourism has developed in this period, President Tatar noted that passengers will be able to visit the country more easily after the completion of some works at Ercan Airport.

President Tatar emphasised that the opportunity that wide-bodied aircraft land at Ercan Airport, which was opened on July 20, has a positive impact on tourism.

Pointing out that new investments and projects in tourism are on the agenda, President Tatar thanked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for his support.
